Perfect fit, works great. A bit of a struggle to get it on, but went on just fine and runs well. (Youtube videos on this crack me up, they musta stretched theirs out before turning on the camera!)Side note: the Dyson sucks like a Kansas twister on a hot summer day, that said watch out what you run it over. Any kind of little twig, stick, tree branch or piece of 4x4 will jam the roller, tubes, u-tube, etc. Does your carpet have a loose snag? Run over that and the vac rips it out and wraps it tightly around the roller -- freezing the roller and burning out the belt. And don't get me started on dental floss. We have a non-nuclear family of several kids and every one of them has tested this out -- resulting in several repairs to our DC-17 Animal: several belts, a new roller, and a new roller housing. But that thing still runs like a champ...unfortunately.
